Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of designers, engineers, makers and problem-solvers?

At Heart of Supply, we're looking for creative and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teachers to work in secondary schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

  As a Design and Technology Teacher, you'll play a key role in helping students develop practical skills, creativity and confidence. Whether you're teaching Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, Food Technology or a combination of specialisms, you'll bring learning to life through engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage innovation and independent thinking.

  You'll have the opportunity to inspire students of all abilities, helping them develop valuable life skills whilst fostering a love of designing, creating and problem-solving.

  Supply teaching offers flexibility, variety and the chance to gain experience across different schools whilst continuing to share your passion for Design and Technology.

What you will need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology within a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge within one or more DT disciplines
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety within practical environments
  • A passion for inspiring young people and helping them achieve their full potential
