Heart of Supply is working with secondary schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas to recruit enthusiastic Maths Teachers for flexible teaching opportunities starting this summer or in the new academic year. Whether you're looking for regular day-to-day work, a longer-term placement or the opportunity to experience a variety of schools before securing a permanent role, we'd love to support you at the start of your teaching career.

You'll teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering pre-planned lessons, promoting positive behaviour and helping students develop confidence and fluency with mathematical concepts. Every day can look a little different, giving you the opportunity to build your confidence quickly, strengthen your classroom management skills and gain valuable experience working with a wide range of learners.

We're looking for teachers who are resilient, adaptable and passionate about making Maths engaging, accessible and relevant for all students. You'll be someone who can build positive relationships, communicate concepts clearly and inspire students to develop their problem-solving skills from the moment you step into the classroom.

Whether your passion lies in algebra, geometry, statistics or helping students overcome barriers to learning Maths, we'll work with you to find opportunities that suit your strengths, ambitions and availability.

We work with a wide network of welcoming secondary schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, including academies, local authority schools and mixed comprehensive settings. Our partner schools vary in size, ethos and demographics, giving teachers the opportunity to find environments where they can truly thrive.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK secondary setting
• Strong Maths subject knowledge and confidence teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
• The ability to build positive relationships with students quickly
• A calm, consistent approach to classroom management
• Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to embrace different school settings
• Passionate about supporting diverse learners and creating an inclusive classroom environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a dynamic educational setting.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice. This role provides valuable experience for early career teachers eager to develop their teaching expertise in a supportive environment dedicated to student success.
• A minimum of 6 weeks’ teaching experience in the UK

£32,916- £45,351 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)
