Heart of Supply is delighted to be recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to support our valued partner schools across Newark and the surrounding areas, commencing January 2026.
These rewarding and flexible roles include day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term opportunities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You’ll have the chance to work in a range of welcoming schools across Newark, delivering engaging lessons, following well-prepared plans, and helping to create a positive, consistent learning environment in the absence of the regular class teacher.
We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable educators who can quickly build rapport with pupils and staff, manage behaviour positively, and bring a calm, confident presence to the classroom. Whether you’re inspiring a Reception class with phonics or supporting Year 6 pupils with revision, you’ll be making a real difference every day.

What you will need
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
- A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
- The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
- Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
- A minimum of 6 weeks’ teaching experience in the UK

£32,916 -£45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications).
