SEND Teaching Assistant Market Rasen
About the role
Heart of Supply is looking for compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people across Market Rasen and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities available in primary schools, secondary schools, specialist provisions, inclusion units and alternative education settings.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll provide the encouragement, structure and consistency that many pupils need to succeed. Some roles may involve supporting a single pupil on a 1:1 basis, whilst others may see you working with small groups or supporting a class alongside the teacher.
Every day will be different. You may be helping a pupil develop their communication skills, supporting emotional regulation, encouraging engagement in lessons, or simply providing the reassurance they need to feel confident in school. Whatever the challenge, your patience, positivity and ability to build strong relationships will help pupils achieve their potential.
Whether you're experienced in SEND support or looking to build on existing skills, supply work offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a variety of settings whilst making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people.
