Why does the framework matter?
Changes to the Academy Trust Handbook from September 2026 have brought greater attention to how academy trusts procure supply staff.
Academy trusts are required to use the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) framework or an alternative procurement route that complies with the Procurement Act 2023.
