1:1 Teaching Assistant

About the role
We are really excited at Heart of Supply to be advertising this 1:1 Teaching Assistant role in a small village primary school on the outskirts of Gainsborough. This 1:1 Teaching Assistant position is based within a reception class and is mornings only, making it a great option for someone looking for part-time work while still making a meaningful difference.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a young boy on a one-to-one basis. He is autistic, so the role calls for patience, empathy and a calm, understanding approach. You will play a key part in supporting his learning, building his confidence and helping him feel settled and supported in his day-to-day school experience.

There is also a lovely opportunity with this 1:1 Teaching Assistant role to continue supporting him as he moves through the school, allowing you to build a strong relationship over time and really see the progress you are helping him make.

This role would suit someone who is naturally caring, committed and genuinely enjoys supporting children on an individual basis. If you are a 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a real difference and see the impact of your support every day, we would love to hear from you.
