Early Years Practitioners

Heart of Supply is recruiting skilled Early Years Practitioners to create safe, engaging, and joyful early learning environments. Whether you specialise in birth-to-two or preschool, we’ll help you find the right setting.

You’ll bring creativity, care, and structure to each day, supporting routines, encouraging independence, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of early development and finds joy in the small but powerful moments of progress.

We work in partnership with a wide network of welcoming, well-supported schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, including nurseries, primary and secondary schools, academies, local authority provisions, and specialist SEND settings. Whether you’re passionate about early years, KS2, or supporting pupils with additional needs, we’ll match you with schools that align with your skills and values. As a Heart of Supply educator, you’ll be part of a growing team that’s making a real difference in the classroom, gaining valuable experience across diverse environments.

• • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting children aged 0–5 in a nursery or early years classroom setting
  • An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how to support learning through play
  • A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach to children’s individual needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, including with parents and carers
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of young children

  We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.

£93 - £105 per hour (depending on experience and/or qualifications)
