Do you have a passion for food, nutrition and inspiring young people with skills they'll use for life?

At Heart of Supply, we're looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Food Technology Teachers to work in secondary schools across Louth and the surrounding areas.

  As a Food Technology Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to bring learning to life through practical lessons that develop students' confidence, creativity and understanding of food preparation, nutrition and healthy living. You'll help students gain valuable life skills whilst encouraging independence, problem-solving and a love of cooking.

  Whether you're teaching key cooking techniques, food science, nutrition or food safety, you'll create engaging lessons that inspire students to develop their knowledge and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

  Supply teaching offers flexibility, variety and the opportunity to experience different school settings whilst continuing to share your passion for Food Technology.

What you will need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge in food preparation, nutrition and food safety
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety within practical teaching environments
  • A passion for inspiring young people and helping them achieve their potential

£32,916 - £45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications)
