  At Heart of Supply, we're recruiting passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teachers to support primary schools across Gainsborough and the surrounding areas from September 2026.

  Whether you're seeking the flexibility of day-to-day supply, the consistency of a long-term placement, or a permanent position through a temp-to-perm route, we'd love to hear from you. We work closely with local schools to offer a variety of opportunities that suit different career stages, lifestyles and aspirations.

  As a KS2 Teacher, you'll play a vital role in preparing pupils for the next stage of their educational journey. Through engaging lessons, high expectations and positive relationships, you'll help children develop the knowledge, resilience and confidence they need to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.

  Whether you're teaching Lower Key Stage 2 or Upper Key Stage 2, you'll have the opportunity to create inspiring learning experiences that challenge, motivate and support pupils of all abilities. From building strong foundations in English and Maths to encouraging curiosity across the wider curriculum, you'll make a lasting impact on the children you teach.

What you will need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Confidence implementing positive behaviour management strategies and establishing clear expectations for learning
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils whilst maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement
  • A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential

We're fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS checks with children's barred list check and Update Service registration, references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.

£32,916 - £45,351 per annum (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)
