Mixed Year 4/5 Teacher

At Heart of Supply, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Mixed Year 4/5 Teacher to join a welcoming Key Stage 2 team in a school based in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. This Mixed Year 4/5 Teacher position is a full-time temporary role running from Easter through to July.

The successful teacher will take on full planning responsibilities and will play an important part in supporting pupils’ progress throughout the term. This welcoming primary setting in Spilsby provides an inclusive and supportive environment for children aged 4 to 11, with a strong focus on fostering positive relationships, personal growth and a love of learning. The school promotes well designed and engaging curriculum experiences supported by a broad range of subjects and opportunities for creativity and physical activity.

It is part of a local trust that works closely with staff to enhance provision and maintain high expectations for behaviour and attendance, with pupils encouraged to follow clear, consistent values that support their development. The school also offers enrichment through clubs, cultural experiences and community centred activities, helping pupils broaden their horizons and build confidence in a nurturing Key Stage 2 environment.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Recent experience teaching across KS2 (minimum of 6 weeks in a UK school)
• Confidence delivering engaging lessons that are age-appropriate and accessible
• Strong classroom presence and adaptable behaviour management strategies
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly
• A flexible, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for helping children thrive

We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.

£32,916-£45,352 per annum pro rata (depending on experience and/or qualifications)
