Secondary Early Career Teacher
About the role
Finishing your teacher training this year and wondering what comes next? Supply teaching can be one of the best ways to sharpen your practice, experience different school environments and discover the type of setting where you thrive.
Heart of Supply is working with secondary schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas to recruit enthusiastic Early Career Teachers for flexible teaching opportunities starting this summer. Whether you’re looking for regular day-to-day work, a longer-term placement in your subject area or the chance to experience a variety of schools before committing permanently, we’d love to support you at the start of your career.
You’ll teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 within your subject specialism, delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment and helping students stay motivated and engaged in their learning. Every day can look a little different, giving you the chance to build confidence quickly, strengthen your behaviour management skills and gain valuable experience with a wide range of learners.
We’re looking for teachers who are resilient, adaptable and passionate about making their subject interesting and accessible. You’ll be someone who builds rapport naturally, communicates clearly and brings energy into the classroom from the moment you walk through the door.
