About the role
At Heart of Supply, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to join a wonderful and inclusive primary school in Lincoln from September 2026. This is a full-time role, initially offered on a temporary basis until Christmas 2026, with the potential to become a fixed-term position for the right candidate.

The successful teacher will take full responsibility for planning, preparation and assessment, delivering engaging lessons that support pupils in achieving their full potential during this important stage of their primary education. Working closely with an experienced Key Stage 2 team, you will play a key role in preparing pupils for SATs and their transition to secondary school.

What you will need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Recent experience teaching within upper Key Stage 2, with a minimum of 6 weeks' teaching experience in a UK primary school.
  • A strong understanding of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Experience assessing pupil progress and using assessment outcomes to inform teaching and learning.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  • A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
